What exactly is a Samsung P2?

Jonelle Eligio: Technically, its an mp3/media player. It's main function is a music/vid player that can also: view pix, radio, games, bluetooth and lots of other stuff. There are firmware updates that come free form Samsung that let you add more and more features, such as the cell phone connectablilty. This update lets you connect to a cell phone and use the player like a 'hands-free device'. You use the interanal mic on the bottom of the player and the headphones as the speaker. I've used it a couple times, but its really not worth the hassle. Its too hard to accomplish when you're driving because its NOT a 1-touch operation. I' m not saying dont get the p2, its pretty awesome [ and cheap], but the cell phone blutooth capability is a cool feature to use freaquently, not once in awhile[so its always on]....Show more

Karie Mavle: It is a slick, touchscreen, mp3 player that holds videos, songs, pictures, text and has a bunch of little extras like games n stuff. and i! f you get a firmware update for it off the internet you can use the p2 as a cell phone using bluetooth.
