Ricky Frazer: The Nazi's had enough power to force Hindenburg to appoint Hitler as Chancellor of Germany before he died. The populace revered Hindenburg for his role in World War I (The Great War). His death gave the Nazi's the chance to assume full power, as many of the populace already supported the aims of the Nazis.
