You will notice that more Panasonic tv is recommended than any brand of tvs in the market. They are still considered to have the best picture quality and viewing angle of any tv in the market. Hye Caulley: Plasmas are cheaper. Don't work well in well lit rooms. Use much more electricity and continue to up their electricity usage as they age in order to keep their colors and screen bright. After a few years, they are like little space heaters. And over time their blacks fade to gray.LCDs are brighter, work better in light rooms. Use much less energy and are physically lighter in case you have to hang or move them. The provide a brighter picture with more pop.I have LCDs, and I don't care for plasmas....Show more
