Why are there no Bible video games?

Kaylee Schmittou: Because they would be too violent and end up with M ratings, then the kids wouldn't be able to play them. Seriously, have you read the Bible? If you thought GTA IV was bad, try making an accurate biblical game video game that would be playable by kids or wouldn't offend the moral majority. The pitch would look something like this:"Okay... so first the user creates the earth and the sky etc etc, then they get to create man and woman... uh... wait... they're supposed to be naked. Oops, can't have that. Um... So lets skip ahead. We have Cain and Able now.... oh. um. The first murder, right... a little too graphic huh? Okay, Skipping ahead. Sodom and Gamor- what? That's out too? Man, how about Noah? We can keep Noah, right? You know, cute bunnies on a boat and stuff? Too many flood victims huh? Okay. How about the new testament? Don't want to use the word "virgin?" That's kinda the whole point though... okay, okay, I gotcha. Uh... lets see... How about the ! 5 fish and bread mini game? That's still in right? Good! Okay, we're getting some where! We can keep the walking on water special ability, correct? That's cool? Alright. Now, about Mary Magdalen- oh, she's out. Right, can't mention the world's oldest profession... okay. Now, about the crucifixion toward the end... huh? You don't want the nails, the stabbing, the crown of thorns, or anything that might puncture the skin? You know the cross was wood, right? I mean, heh heh, He could have gotten a splinter that might have punctured... what?!?! You want the cross out now too? I was kidding about that!"...Show more

Charissa Riley: they've made bible games b4 all fails they must have learned no one likes bible games even god fearing people found them boring

Gabriel Realmuto: I've been to nearly all the tracks. Darlington is my favorite track I have not been there in 4 yrs. (living in Ca sux) I've never been to a Nascar race at the Brickyard I've been to 15 Indy 500's.! So I will say the Brickyard for a Nascar race. Go Dale Jr & H! ms

Becky Mosena: there were a lot of really bad unlicensed games for nes. and don't listen to the one who says super noah's ark 3-D was the best wolfenstein clone ever. there was a gameboy game that was, well, the bible.

Leontine Kreitz: Because Super 3D Noah's Ark is a disaster.

Garrett Detone: preadtor vs alien

Tomeka Hameen: minecraft or you could install swift shader onto one of your games so it doesn't lag as much

Shad Bushweller: Ezio FTW.

Vernita Robberson: Believe it or not, many games have several things in them that originated from the Bible. It may also be considered sac-religious to incorporate Biblical stories being as not every body believes in God.

Sheldon Lally: A psychotic serial killer?

Lupe Sancen: Ezio. Dude, I would get away with so much crap its not even funny.

Lady Laflin: Give me the specs of your pc..try running speccy. you can download that from piriform..then try to look at your pc specs..then ! google the games your graphics card, your ram,and your processor can handle.. done.. :D

Gene Debell: what are some of the best games to play on a pc with bad specs (mostly bad graphics card)? i am open to a variety of genres. however, not very tolerant of dated gameplay. old games are fine, since that's all i can really run, but some games have aged a lot better than others.horror games are my preference, but i would also like some great rpgs, fps's, point and click adventures, stealth, or any genre really that my computer could handle....Show more

Tana Dumoulin: some ppl just dont believe in the bible. if they were 2 make a bible game, it wouldn't sell much. Ps. i believe in the +bible+

Pam Rampadarat: If you're referring to Bible computer games, there are many of them. Just GOOGLE it.

Logan Bero: Because the game industry knows religion is a lie. All it religion is, is a way for people to explain how they got here. I would much rather be shooting ! a Locust from Gears in the face, or sniping people in COD, or leveling ! up in Oblivion or Jetpacking in Halo than playing a level from the Bible. Look at me I'm David let me see my inventory, I got 5 rocks a sling, I am lvl 1, have no experience points and I want to take on Super Boss Goliath. VERY BORING! Hardcore Gamer for Life....Show more

Gaston Edgcomb: it's inappropriate and harmful to the Bible, even if they did create a game from the Bible, it'll probably not sell goodthey've made some Bible games for little kids but, if they turn Bible stories into video games, they'll surely reject it

Jerald Florence: Treasure Adventure Game, Beneath a Steel Sky, Tyrian 2000, Dragonsphere, Lure of the Temptress and Teenagent are all free point and click adventures on GOG.Ultima 4: Quest of the Avatar is also free. It's an RPG that is highly praised, but I haven't played it yet. Poke around their site since they have games from 1994-present. If have a few bucks to spend, get Baldurs Gate 1&2, Fallout 1&2 or Planescape Torment. Most of their ! games are 6 or 10 bucks and DOS games have been reworked to work in windows....Show more

Madlyn Fallis: There is a bible game. When I went to Gamestop, I saw a bible game and it was called "The Bible".

Forest Duttinger: I have been wondering, is it possible to use add-on tracks in the demo for NASCAR Racing 2003?

Brian Freedland: Nr2003 Demo

Paul Maymi: Aragorn (from Lord of the Rings)Ezio or Altair (from Assassins Creed)orSiris (from Infinity Blade on iPhone)

Brian Freedland: No, there is is no way to use add-on tracks for the NR2003 demo.

Otto Lingafelt: Ezio because who would not wanna be a awesome assassin who can climb up buildings but Aragon comes 2nd

Tom Romer: posting a choice question of which Assassin's Creed is a option. I think you underestimate how many people love that game.

Russell Mckinzie: Because it'd be inappropriate.. >_

Trena Berum: Ezio Auditore. Not only is he a badass but he is a wise, caring man! who will not let his personality and motives be overtaken by his feeli! ngs. He is a good man in general.

Eleni Mccier: There have been a few, particularly back in the days of the NES. They never really took off though, and the market for Biblical or Christian-themed video games has remained a tiny fraction of the games industry ever since. There have been a few attempts to put Christian theology over top of more traditional gameplay (the "Left Behind" game is a good example) but again, the ability to combine theology *and* entertaining game mechanics has proven quite difficult to pull off....Show more
