Brock Hladik: Sometimes the single is the best track but often the hidden gems are better it's a tough choice. Often I like the second or third single rather than the first promotional one.

Kassie Kay: Hmm perfect example would be Lupe Fiasco's "The Cool"The single is 'Superstar"I then listened to the whole album and wondered why 8 of the songs weren't "singles"....A better example would be 50 Cent's 'Get Rich or Die ! Tryin'The single was In Da Club but I liked every single song on the album, from Heat to Many Men to Patiently Waiting..On the other hand, Eminem's music, IMO, the singles were the only ones I liked......Show more
Jonelle Eligio: I prefer the whole album
Kenneth Blacker: If I don't like the entire album, but just a few tracks, I prefer the random tracks. They're usually a lot better than the singles.
Norine Lomonte: For me, it's the whole album that matters. I find I can enjoy albums much more that use a certain theme all the way through - it has to flow nicely from start to finish. I don't like albums which have five or six gritty street joints mixed around with loads of commercial R&B tracks all over the place.
Marty Tichnell: I too listen to whole albums...
