Pearlie Medora: Four (or five) in a row. You and your friend take turns putting a checker on the game board. Whoever gets 4 (or 5) in a row first is the winner. If you run out of checkers, you must pick up one of your previously placed checkers and put it somewhere else on the board. Some rules state that anytime you put down a checker, it must be touching the square (be adjacent to the square) of a previously played checker. You can choose to use this rule, or not as you see fit.
