CAR AUCTIONS or cars online ???

Len Bormes: I have to disagree with your comment that '50s-'70s trucks are unsafe. I got a lot of my practice in a '72 Blazer. If that's what you learn on, it's not unsafe. For cool/cheap, Mustangs, Firebirds and Camaros are hard to beat. Stay away from the four-cylinder models, especially in the Mustang.S10/ Sonoma/ Hombre and Ranger/ Mazda B series trucks are cool, affordable, reliable and have great hot rod/custom potential. Again, stay away from the four-cylinder Ford/Mazda.Check out the cars on Craigslist in your area. You're sure to find something interesting on there. I hate myself for searching for Chevy Monzas on there, because sometimes I'll find one that's pretty cheap, and I still can't afford it....Show more

Cody Shimko: If you are searching for a car that has a unique identity this is what you need to do. As you drive around town, pay attention to the other cars around you. Check out cars as you cruise through busy parking lots. When one catches your ! eye find out what it is and do some online searching to get more information. After awhile you'll start to recognize car makes and you'll form an opinion on what is cool and what isn't. We can't tell you what is cool. You need to define that yourself. But the thing you need to realize is this. Cool always costs more. Sometimes you have to settle for what works....Show more

Tobie Oshea: My mom said that she will get me a car when I get my driver's liscense and I'm just curious about what kind of cars are out there. I want a car that looks awesome, and for me, awesomeness means that it has a personality. I would kill to drive around in some sort of old 50's-70's truck, but unfortunately those are a little unsafe for a new driver. But that is just an example, something with character and a distinct look. Doesn't have to be big and can't be anymore than 10,000, but we'll buy it used anyway....Show more

Luke Creitz: buy an old mustang

Marcel Then: autotrader.c! om

Tyler Burkman: Ebay

Caterina Yeargan: I've foun! d this one the best. Yahoo Autos

Lavelle Viveiros: autotrader.comDon't just buy a car, test drive it, look at the car, if you aren't mechanicly inclined get someone who is to look at it to make sure. You never know what someone has done to a car. Once you get it, if it has decent amount of miles it's a good idea to replace spark plugs, air filter, and air filter....Show more

Kristina Brockwell: look for a local area actual car auction and buy there within a week you should find a good condition car for cheap im a car flip guy and i bought a 150$ car at my local auction house and was able to clean it up and sell for 8,700

Derick Kinnard: beetle, safe and fun to drive.

Justin Casten: They wanted to bind you into a purchase before they spent time and money on credit check. If you are declined for this loan, they have you somewhat on the hook so they can finance you at a higher interest rate. I know it is often done this way, but next time shop for fin! ancing on your own at banks and credit unions before you go car shopping. Could save a lot of money.

Claire Billegas: The others are proper, it's going to be prime given that you're younger and shouldn't have revel in. Here are a few matters they seem for in a vehicle. Lighter automobiles are much less to insure. Less strong automobiles also are cheeper. Stick with fundamental colours. Go for a sedan, they're plenty not up to whatever 2 door or sporty. Also in case you plan on having a deductible for your coverage then the age an blue e-book significance come into play. You have plenty of choices for 8k. Look at and force plenty of automobiles earlier than shopping and get one you prefer!...Show more

Logan Bero: I have had good luck with autotrader and vehix.

Booker Warlick: try Vehix.comtry Cars.com

Kara Tabian: I would strongly suggest you make some time. You never know what issues a car may have unless you inspect it thoroughly. You can't do th! is effectively online. It's great for research, but its not practical ! to purchase a used car online (e.g. the listing may say it runs, but then it won't when you collect it...I've seen many people burned).

Virgilio Echter: car auctions , you can get really cheap cars there http://carauctions.deals-guide.com

Valentine Willinger: Craigslist you can find most anything on there.and it tells you cars in youre area.good luck

Renato Abatiell: You find your own financing then you go car shopping. That way you know what you can spend, you know you have the money and you know what kind of interest rate you will have. At this point the salesman wants to sell the car and could care less in how much it will cost you in interest percent. Letting a dealer find financing for you is the most terrible way you can possibily go.

Willa Holte: Look for a Mercedes, around 1990-2001 they have some pretty cool cars and they aren't too pricey.

Jene Licausi: Hello, I have a question about a car dealership. I am looking for a new car and i! have horrible credit, starting a new job, just recently moved in to my new house. Now here is my question: I was at the car lot today and applied and waited for a while and they gave me some monthly prices and i test drove the car, then i had to go into the business managers office and he had to put some information down and then he gave me a paper to sign that had my trade in information and the new car information and all the fees, total cost of the car, doc fees, etc and on the top of the paper it said purchase agreement. I signed it. Now there were some documents that i had to have so he could send over to different finance leaders, so i had to go home to get them. When i came back to the dealership to give him the required documents (copy of utility bill, employment agreement, etc), he made copies and said that he will send over my documents and once he receives an answer, he will give me a call. Does this mean im approved and am going to get the car. Im confused why ! he had me sign a purchase agreement and went through the total cost of ! the car with me if im not approved yet. Please help and let me know something. Any suggestions and answers please. Thank you....Show more

Idell Mulliniks: No, you will not be able to recoup the cost of the vehicle change! Look below at the /comparison I've drawn up for a previous answer regarding the value of a hybrid, this shows it would take over 8 years to save the $5,310. difference between 2 cars. The higher the cost difference, the longer it would take, worse if the replacement vehicle is financed. Take some time to calculate out how many miles a year you must drive, divide by your mpg then multiply by cost per gallon; do this again with the average mpg of any vehicle being considered to replace the Montero, the results will be disappointing, but save you in the long run. Besides, we are just seeing the beginning of high efficiency technology.Prius $21,500. msrp [dlr. Hybrid & other fuel saving technologies will do like cel-phones did, get better & cheaper, very quickly; each obsoleting it's predessor. Besides, right now you will get hosed on that trade-in, if you calculate the costs it will probably work out cheaper to keep the truck or just buy an older sub-compact for commuting.Honda is dropping their hybrid for a diesel [http://www.autobloggreen.com/2007/06/07/2009-honda... 2009, that should you tell you something....Sho! w more

Majorie Chester: Oh and no SUV's!! I'm not like other teen! agers, big isn't always better and I've never liked the way they look.

Norris Rosener: Chevy step-side pick-up.

Jayson Brod: ummmm, sorry, ebay and cars.com

Arnulfo Seegars: I love this car to death but I cannot afford the gas, do you really think the econmy will get better so gas prices will go down??
