Rena Pepe: Total tax is what gets taxed. If it is zero, then that is what you enter.
Mikel Bethay: Total tax. Tax withheld is basically a way to pre-pay your tax; but when you do your taxes at the end of the year, you usually find out that the amount withheld was not exactly the amount of tax you owe. If your withholding was too much, you get a refund.
