Brice Greczkowski: hire in severe-high quality factors of the capital is sky severe and maximum condominium companies require you to have a guarantor who ought to stay in Buenos Aires (we certainly had issues because of the fact ours replaced into from Córdoba).
Maynard Reevers: I understand your concerns Sonny but there are some reputable companies that have been in the market for many years. I´ve rented twice with http://www.buenosaireshabitat.com and they did asked me for a reservation but the property was as advertised on their website. It´s going to be pretty complicated to find an apartment that you like on the same day and if you don´t get it hotels are an expensive option.
Romeo Tinnea: I did see that habitat website, it's amazing what you can rent for just over $1,000 dollars! I wasn't sure about the website, but now you've been with them I can trust them fully, thankyou.
Hubert Jestes: I would NEVER give money over PayPal to rent an apartme! nt, sight unseen from someone overseas. While you are fearful of getting there and not finding something the same day, imagine getting there and the apartment you *thought* you rented doesn't exist? You would be in the same position, only out money too! What I would do is wait until you can get there and work with a reputable agent. Rent a hotel/motel room in the meantime....Show more
Rosio Pasculli: I´ve found three real state places that have their webpages available in English:http://www.ljramos.com.ar/?lang=enhttp://www.baigun.com.ar/en/index.htmhttp://www.remax.com.ar/Default.aspx?Lang=en-US I have good references about the first and the second one. I have no references about Remax. I don´t know about the arrangements for a foreigner. I´m sure there are companies in Buenos Aires that specially work for tourist and/or students who want to rent an appartment here but, as a local, I have little idea about them, only know that they exist. For locals, when you ! want to rent, they ask you a "guarantee", someone who will pro! mise to pay if you don´t and the guarantee is the property of that person. For that reason is not easy to rent in Argentina for a local. Of course, visitors can´t do that so I suppose they may have a different system for you. For 1000 bucks you can get a nice appartment...the same day I find it difficult unless you have arranged before arriving. Paypal system is unknow for me here, I wanted to try it but Central Bank regulations make it hard to use, when you go to a bank here asking how to get your money from Paypal they look at you as if you were an "ET". They can´t articulate that kind of transactions. It´s easy to pay but difficult to receive money. It is different with credit cards. You may also try www.zonaprop.com.ar and www.argenprop.com, they are a browser of several real state companies. It´s in Spanish but it helps about getting idea of places and prices....Show more
Perry Deshazior: Buenos Aires is an incredible town; it's an amazing city that appea! rs a bit like Europe, but by having an edgy Latin American twist and if you intend to visit this town then take a peek with hotelbye . El Puerto Madero is a place well visited. It offered as the main interface of Buenos Aires during the late 19th century but know is converted into buildings that would be used as residences, restaurants, stores and other corporations and to offer this challenge a little sparkle, all streets in the district were named following women. Strolling through the Puerto Madero is a good way to pay a pleasant morning exactly like visiting El Obelisco. El Obelisco was integrated 1936 to remember the 400th wedding of the city founding and now's a must-see place from Buenos Aires....Show more
