Lavelle Viveiros: I believe that philosophy forms humans lifestyles so by following a philosophy based on your profession, you are completely misinterpreting the concept of philosophy. If you want to be a soldier in Iraq and you do not like violence but you consider yourself a patriot, it would stupid to try to adapt to a philosophy like "its kill or be killed out here" when you personally oppose it.

Gabriel Realmuto: The BRANCH of philosophy is Ethics, but I doubt anybody has formulated that idea as such in the abstract. Plato goes on at great lengths about what one needs to be a good leader, as does Machiavelli. I don't know if those will help you though. Too much reading to little to the point.
