Nedra Oltz: I did extensive research before I boought my tuner - the Hauppauge 950Q was the best one in the price range that I found. It's USB, so it'll work on any computer, PC, laptop, Mac, etc. The quality is about as good as the signal you get. (It does ClearQAM, so you can use it for cable if you want.) And tech support is in the US (if you can understand New York-ese. I'm a Noo Yawker, so I have no problem.)

If you want to watch TV on your computer screen because you don't have the space to have both a monitor and a TV you should look at the solution offered by Kworld. These product are external TV receivers that use the computer monitor as the screen.
